Meal Prep Tips

This triple berry smoothie is easy to make the morning you want to have one. However, if you don’t want to break out the smoothie every day then you can make a triple batch and store the smoothies in the refrigerator using mason jars.
The consistency will change some but the flavor will stay the same.

Freezer Tips

My favorite way to assure I always have smoothie ingredients available is to prepare smoothie freezer kits. To make a triple berry smoothie kit add the frozen berries, banana, and chia seeds to a quart-sized freezer bag.
When you’re ready to make the smoothie then add the contents of the kit into the blender, add the almond milk, and blend.

Storage
This smoothie recipe is so easy to make. However, if you don’t have time to break out the blender every morning, you can make a few smoothies at a time and then store them in mason jars in the fridge. The consistency will change, but the flavor will still be tasty. Give the smoothie a couple of shakes and enjoy.
Another way to prep smoothies ahead of time is to create freezer smoothie kits. In the morning, dump the ingredients from the kits into a blender and blend.

To freeze: Have blueberry smoothie ingredients ready for the week or month by assembling them (minus the coconut milk) into smoothie packs and storing them in the freezer. Toss the ingredients in the blender with milk and blend.

You can also assemble the smoothie ingredients into a freezer kit. Place all of the ingredients (except the liquid) into a freezer bag or container and freeze. When you want to drink the smoothie, place the ingredients into the blender, add the liquid, and blend.  Check out my frozen smoothie packs tutorial for more information.
