When your brain is tired but you still want something fun 🙃
Ingredients (makes 2)
• ~½ lb ground pork
• Hamburger buns (or hoagie rolls if you have them, which now we know is important lol)
• your favorite BBQ sauce
• Sliced onions
• Pickles
Quick BBQ Rub:
• 1 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 tsp paprika
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp salt
• ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions:
Mix the BBQ rub, then combine most of it with the ground pork (reserve a little).
Shape into patties similar to your bun shape but lightly larger, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Sprinkle some of the the reserved rub on top.
Bake at 400°F (200ºC) for 20 minutes.
At 10 minutes, brush both sides with BBQ sauce, brush more BBQ sauce every few minutes until fully cooked, for a thick and sticky coating
Serve on toasted buns with onions & pickles.
