Crockpot Meatballs // Sugar and Soul
Ingredients:

Meatballs
▢3 lb ground beef
▢1 cup panko breadcrumbs
▢3 large eggs
▢3 teaspoon onion powder
▢3 tablespoon dried oregano
▢3 tablespoon dried basil
▢6 teaspoon garlic powder
▢1.5 teaspoon kosher salt
▢1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Sauce
▢3 yellow onion diced
▢6 garlic cloves or 3 minced
▢84 oz. can crushed tomatoes
▢45 oz. can tomato sauce no salt added
▢18 oz. can tomato paste no salt added
▢1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
▢2 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
▢3 teaspoon dried oregano
▢3 teaspoon kosher salt
▢1.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix together the meatball ingredients with your hands until fully combined.
Roll the mixture into 12 or 18 evenly sized balls and place them in the bottom of a crockpot. Just to be safe, spray the bottom of the crockpot with cooking spray before adding the meatballs.
Add in the sauce ingredients and give them a gentle stir. Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or low for 6 to 8 hours.4
