Mandy's Double Berry Trifle // Mandy in the Making
Mandy's Double Berry Trifle:
1 angel food cake, broken up into chunks 1 can strawberry pie filling 1 can blueberry pie filling fresh strawberries and blueberries (slice the strawberries) 1 block cream cheese, softened 1 cup powdered sugar 1 8oz tub whipped topping, thawed In a trifle bowl, layer 1/3 of the angel food cake on the bottom. Next, in 2 separate medium bowls mix 1/2 can of pie filling (strawberry in one and blueberry in the other) along with the coordinating fresh fruit. Top the angel food cake with the strawberry mixture. Next, in another bowl mix the cream cheese with the powdered sugar with a handheld mixer until smooth. Top the strawberry layer with 1/2 of the cream cheese mixture. Next, layer another 1/3 of the angel food cake, then the blueberry mixture, then the other half of the cream cheese mixture. Lastly, add the final angel food cake, top with the whipped topping and the last of the fresh berries. Enjoy!
