Baked Ravioli

ngredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 0.67 teaspoon each: onion powder, dried basil, dried oregano, mustard powder
  • 1.33 teaspoon hot sauce doesn’t make it spicy
  • 1.33 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.33 small yellow onion diced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 32 oz. marinara sauce
  • 0.67 cup half and half
  • 2.67 cups mozzarella cheese divided
  • 26.67 oz. refrigerated ravioli uncooked. see notes

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and add it to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and crumble it for 3 minutes. Add the seasonings, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and the onions and cook for 5 more minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Tilt the skillet and spoon out any excess grease. Reduce heat to low.
  • Spread 3/4 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish and add the rest to the skillet with the meat. Add the half and half and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
  • Arrange half of the ravioli on the bottom of the casserole dish and top with half of the meat sauce, then top with ½ cup mozzarella cheese.
  • Top with remaining ravioli, then the meat sauce and remaining mozzarella.
  • Cover and bake for 35 minutes. If covering with foil, spray one side with non-stick cooking spray to prevent it from sticking to the cheese while it bakes.
  • Remove cover and broil at 450 to brown the top slightly. It’ll take just 1-2 minutes, watch it closely during this time.
  • Remove from heat and serve!

The BEST Tater Tot Casserole

  • 2 lb lean ground beef (the leaner the better)
  • 1 onion , diced
  • 4 cloves garlic , minced
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 30 oz can green beans , drained
  • 21.5 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups frozen tater tots
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375F.
  • Lightly grease an 8 or 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the onions to the skillet and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes until translucent.
  • Add the garlic and cook, stirring frequently, for an additional minute.
  • Stir in Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer ground beef mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Top with cream of mushroom soup, followed by green beans, followed by the cheddar cheese. Make sure to season the green bean layer. 
  • Finally, top with tater tots.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until tater tots are golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Serve immediately.

Chicken Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 package (6 ounces) chicken stuffing mix
  • 2 cups cubed cooked chicken
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed broccoli cheese soup, undiluted
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions, using only 1-1/2 cups water.
  2. In large bowl, combine chicken, broccoli and soup; transfer to a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. Top with stuffing; sprinkle with cheese. Bake, covered, 20 minutes. Uncover; bake until heated through, 10-15 minutes longer.

Taco Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning
  • 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) Mexican diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 6 flour tortillas (8 inches)
  • 1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
  • 3 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the beef, green pepper and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add water and taco seasoning; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 2 minutes. Stir in black beans and tomatoes. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
  2. Place 2 tortillas in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Spread with half of the refried beans and half of the beef mixture; sprinkle with 1 cup cheese. Repeat layers. Top with remaining tortillas and cheese.
  3. Cover and bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
