Cheesy Ground Beef Rice Casserole
Ingredients:
1½ pounds ground beef
2 cups cooked white rice
1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Cook Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with chopped onions until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Mix Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.
Bake:
Spread mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with additional cheddar cheese.
Cook:
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and lightly golden on top.
Garnish & Serve:
Let rest for 5 minutes. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top if desired. Serve warm.
