Bacon Cheeseburger Gnocchi

INGREDIENTS

1 lb ground beef

1 onion chopped

1/2 tsp each of salt and pepper

1 tsp each of onion powder and paprika

1/4 tsp cayenne

1 tbsp minced garlic

8 oz can tomato sauce

1/2 cup beef broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

19 oz package shelf stable gnocchi

1 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese

4 slices bacon (cooked & chopped)

Green onions

INSTRUCTIONS:

Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat. Add the

chopped onion, salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika, and

cayenne.

Once meat is cooked through drain any extra grease. Add the

minced garlic, tomato sauce, beef broth, heavy cream, and the

gnocchi.

Stir everything well. Once it starts bubbling, cover with a lid,

and lower the heat to medium low. Cook for about 5 minutes

covered.

Remove the lid and check to make sure the gnocchi is tender.

Stir well. Top with shredded Colby Jack cheese and cooked

chopped bacon.

Let sit on the stove covered until the cheese melts or pop on

the oven for just a few minutes to melt the cheese.

Top with some chopped green onions and enjoy!
