Dump & Bake Marry Me Chicken Casserole
- 16 oz dry short pasta
- 1 lb cooked, shredded or chopped chicken breast
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 8 oz jar diced sundried tomatoes with the oil
- 1-2 cups fresh baby spinach
- 32 oz chicken broth
- 8 oz block cream cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
In a lightly sprayed 9 x 13 casserole dish place dry pasta, chicken, seasonings, sun dried tomatoes with oil, spinach, and chicken broth.
Give it a slight stir, mainly make sure the noodles are fully covered with the broth. Place block of cream cheese on top. Cover tightly with foil and bake 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and give the dish a good stir, at this point if your noodles don't feel like they are cooked to al dente just cover and bake an additional 10 minutes. But if your noodles are good, top with mozzarella cheese and bake uncovered for about 10-15 more minutes.
Let stand then serve and enjoy!
