Crock Pot Salisbury Steak
Crockpot Salisbury Steak is an easy slow cooker meal perfect to feed a hungry family. Tender beef and gravy make this a delicious recipe sure to be a hit.

Ingredients
For the Patties:
- 1 1/2 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg (beaten)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
For the Gravy:
- 1/2 onion (sliced)
- 4 ounces mushrooms (sliced)
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
Instructions
- Mix together the patties ingredients in a mixing bowl. Then divide the mixture into 6 even patties. Brown the patties in a large skillet over medium high heat for approximately 3 minutes per side. Do not cook the patties all the way through.
- Place the mushrooms and onions in the bottom of a 6 quart crock pot. Then place the patties on top.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown gravy mix, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce and dijon mustard. Pour this mixture into the crock pot over the beef.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 3 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
- Remove the patties from the crock pot and set aside.
- Whisk together the cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl. Stir this mixture into the crock pot. Cover and cook on high for 15-20 minutes until the sauce thickens. Then add the beef patties back to the crock pot.
- Serve over mashed potatoes and enjoy!
