Crock Pot Salisbury Steak

Crockpot Salisbury Steak is an easy slow cooker meal perfect to feed a hungry family. Tender beef and gravy make this a delicious recipe sure to be a hit.

Instructions

  • Mix together the patties ingredients in a mixing bowl.  Then divide the mixture into 6 even patties. Brown the patties in a large skillet over medium high heat for approximately 3 minutes per side. Do not cook the patties all the way through.
  • Place the mushrooms and onions in the bottom of a 6 quart crock pot.  Then place the patties on top. 
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown gravy mix, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce and dijon mustard.  Pour this mixture into the crock pot over the beef. 
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 3 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.  
  • Remove the patties from the crock pot and set aside. 
  • Whisk together the cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl.  Stir this mixture into the crock pot.  Cover and cook on high for 15-20 minutes until the sauce thickens.  Then add the beef patties back to the crock pot. 
  • Serve over mashed potatoes and enjoy!
