 Creamy Cheesy Pasta Marinara

2 lbs cooked drained ground meat

4 oz tomato paste

5 - 8 oz can Italian stewed diced tomatoes 

1 TBSP each : 

minced garlic or granulated garlic

Italian seasoning

Kosher sea salt

ground black pepper

minced onion or onion powder

Instructions for ground meat mix:

Cook ground meat just until no longer pink.

Drain excess grease

Mix seasonings and tomato paste into meat and cook additional 3-5 minutes stirring just to ensure seasonings and tomato paste are well incorporated into meat. Do not over stir OR over cook meat. TURN OFF and REMOVE FROM HEAT - set aside


Ingredients for Pasta Mix:

For this recipe, just boil up 3 lbs pasta to al dente then drain but do not rinse.

Add 2 lbs shredded cheese and cooked meat. Add 2-3 cups of your favorite marinara or pasta sauce and 1 c water (I often use reserved water from boiling the pasta which adds to the creaminess of the dish) and allow to simmer while stirring to ensure your cheese does not burn or clump then serve while still hot from stove.
