 Hot Chocolate on a Stick (Day 1)

Easy Cinnamon Sugar Pecans (DAY 2)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pecans (and/or almonds)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or your preference)
  • 2 tsp water
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or non-stick foil.

  3. Mix the sugar, cinnamon and salt in a large ziploc bag.

  4. Whisk the egg white, vanilla and water with a fork in a large bowl until frothy. 

  5. Add the pecans (or almonds) to the egg white mixture and stir until they are well coated. 

  6. Pour the pecans into the ziploc bag, seal and shake until well coated with your cinnamon/sugar mixture.

  7. Spread them out on your prepared baking sheet into a single layer.

  8. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. 

  9. Try not to eat them all in one sitting.


Lump of Coal Cookies (Day 3)

Ingredients: 1 package (16ish ounces) Oreo cookies 1 package (5 to 6 cups) marshmallows 4 Tbsp (or half a stick) salted butter melt butter and marshmallows in microwave-safe bowl, crumble the cookies by hand, or in a blender, and dump the powdered cookies in. Stir, and pull out wads of cookie of whatever size you like. Let them cool, and they're ready to serve or bag up and give as gifts!
