Crockpot Salisbury Steak

Ingredients  

  • 18 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 1.5 onion , sliced
  • 4.5 cups beef broth (low sodium)
  • 3 ounce package brown gravy mix (dry)
  • 6 tablespoons ketchup
  • 3 teaspoon dijon
  • 6 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 6 tablespoons corn starch
  • 12 tablespoons water

Beef Patties

  • 4.5 pounds lean ground beef
  • 3 egg yolk
  • 0.75 cup minced onion
  • 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 9 tablespoons milk
  • 3 clove garlic
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions 

  • Place mushrooms & onions in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  • Combine beef patty ingredients and form 6 patties. Brown over medium high heat (about 3 minutes per side).
  • Layer beef patties over mushrooms. Combine remaining ingredients except water and cornstarch. Pour over beef and cook on low 5 hours.
  • Once cooked, remove patties and set aside.
  • Turn slow cooker onto high. Combine cold water and cornstarch. Stir into the broth and let cook a few minutes until thickened. Add beef back into the sauce to coat.
  • Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.

TACO HASH BROWN CASSEROLE

Instructions:

  • Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess grease. Add taco seasoning and water to the pan and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, stir together hash browns, cheese soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, taco meat, Rotel diced tomatoes and green chiles, black beans, and corn.
  • Spray a 6-qt slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Pour potato mixture into the crockpot.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.

Beef Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds ground beef
  • 2 small onion, chopped optional
  • 2 package frozen tater tots about 1 pound
  • 2 can cream of mushroom soup can use fat-free
  • 2 cup milk

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef and onion together until done, and drain off any grease (I brown my beef ahead of time and store it in the freezer to make this quicker).
    4 pounds ground beef,2 small onion, chopped
  • Place the ground beef mixture in the bottom of an 8x8 baking dish. Top with the frozen tater tots.
    2 package frozen tater tots
  • In a small bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup and milk. Pour this over the tater tots.
    2 can cream of mushroom soup,2 cup milk
  • Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Notes

A lot of recipes don't have you covering it and I used to do mine that way but I've found it is even better if you cover it up a bit. If you'd like your tater tots nice and golden brown, uncover for the last 10 minutes of cooking.
