Bacon Wrapped Sweet and Savory Jalepeno Poppers
Ingredients:
1 lb thin cut bacon of your choice
1 (8 oz) brick of softened cream cheese
1/2 C jelly , jam or marmalade of your choice
8 jalepeno peppers cut in half with seeds removed (USE GLOVES to handle the hot peppers)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees (F)
Mix jelly with softened cream cheese
Stuff jalepenoes with 1 tspn cream cheese mix
Wrap raw bacon around stuffed jalepeno ensure that bacon ends at bottom of jalepeno
Tightly place the jalepenos into an 8 x 8 dish and cover.
Bake in oven for 20 minutes until bacon is mostly cooked then uncover and bake for additional 20 minutes or until bacon is crispy and peppers are soft.
Remove from oven and allow to set for 5-6 minutes before serving.
