Bacon Cheddar Meat Sheet (MINE)

 Ingredients:

3 lbs ground meat of your choice (RAW)

2 large room temp eggs beaten lightly

1 - 1 1/2 C shredded cheddar cheese (I prefer the blocks and shredding myself)

1/2 lb crispy baked thin cut bacon - cut into bite-sized pieces

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees(F)

1.) Mix all seasonings, 2 room temp eggs in large miving bowl.

2.) Then add cheese and bacon and give a quick stir until all cheese and bacon is coated.

3.) Next add meat in large chunks then mix just until eggs, cheese and bacon are incorporated into meat completely. Do NOT over work meat as it will get tough.

4.) Press meat mix onto sheet pan (I used 11 x 17 size) making sure it is even and at least 1 inch from all edges of sheet pan. This causes any grease to separate and go to outer edges. You can also use a half pint jar in middle of the meat sheet to draw all excess grease and juices out of meat.

5.) Place on middle rack in preheated oven and cook for 30 minutes or until meat is browned and 160 degrees in middle.

6. ) Allow to cool to just above room temperature before slicing and removing from sheet pan and placing on paper towel lined plate or cooling rack with sheet pan underneath. This allows all grease to drain out of your meat. Pleace into freezer strength labeled zipper bag and squeeze all excess air out if freezing then allow to cool over night in fridge before placing in freezer.

**Be SURE to label bag with name of dish (Bacon Cheddar Meat Sheet) and "Thaw overnight then re-heat in microwave"
